ESF #2 Training Conference

The objective of the Training Conference is to advance the training and operational readiness of the ESF #2 Emergency Communications Team members. The Training Conference is currently scheduled semi-annually to precede and conclude the annual Hurricane Season (typically June - October). The conference attendees receive instruction on:

• current ESF #2 operating policies and procedures
  
  
• communications technologies that may be employed during emergency operations
  
  
• Government and private sector "best practices" for coordinating communications services during an emergency.
