SHARES Coordination Network (SCN)
A nationwide network used by SHARES stations to coordinate
SHARES related activities, and to provide information on the availability
and status of SHARES stations during emergencies. The network is supported
by ten SHARES Coordination Frequencies.
Any SHARES station is authorized to use the SCN to contact another SHARES
station directly. The SCN is also available on a full-period basis for
use by any SHARES station for training and link verification purposes.
