SHARES Emergency Coordination Team (SECT)

The SECT is made up of four SHARES HF Interoperability Working Group members, and is activated during emergency situations when SHARES support is required. The SECT is responsible for maintaining the status of SHARES during the emergency, keeping emergency response personnel current on SHARES capability by issuing SHARES Operational Status Reports, and responding to any technical or interoperability issues experienced in the SHARES network.
