Rockwell Collins’ Jones Receives NSTAC Appointment CertificateWashington D.C,, March 14, 2002. -Clayton M. Jones, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Rockwell Collins, Inc. (right), receives his Presidential certificate officially designating him as member of the President’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC) from Richard A. Clarke, the President’s Special Advisor for Cyber Security. The presentations occurred March 12 during the NSTAC dinner held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington.

The President's NSTAC is composed of up to 30 Presidentially appointed industry leaders. In its advisory role to the President, the NSTAC provides industry-based analyses and recommendations on a wide range of policy and technical issues related to telecommunications, information assurance (IA), infrastructure protection, and other national security and emergency preparedness concerns.
